Most of us here have made the same mistakes as you...I didn't even know to look up the breed, heck we bought Miss Mini cuz she was cute, only after getting her home did we find out she would always be small etc., I had never heard of a Yorkie, puppymill, broker etc., before my sweet Mini.

In retrospect I wouldn't change a thing, little puppies, babies, kittens they are fragile regardless of skin or fur, I had 25 puppies (black Labs) in 3 litters and both my children were small....all 25 puppies survived their manhandling!

When pups get older they learn to stay out of the way just as we adjust and watch out for them, there will always be accidents, just the other night I nearly fell over Mini as she yelped so loudly in fear....neither of us suffered injuries. Take adequate measures to insure the safety of the pup at all times, she is part of your family and in due time all will co-exist.
