Yes, the situation is not optimal. ...but you got the dog. What's done is done.
Teach the kds.
Train the puppy.
Watch the puppy closely for hypoglycemia.
Insure the puppy if money is a concern.
Medical problems may be more common in dogs from puppy mills, but even dogs considered to be well bred have problems.
Everyone has an opinion. Please don't let peoples' strong opinions separate you from your puppy. Just purchase differently the next time...
