He's associating it with something bad like fear or pain, perhaps? Maybe pooping is painful to him somehow and he's associating the thing that he finds and smells right afterward with that pain. He's likely too young to have a history of somebody hitting or yelling at him every times he poops in the house, even at the breeder's home, so it could be from some pain he has. Maybe he gets gas right before or he's got swollen anals and pooping is painful before or during the act.
