I'd say if you see anything that doesn't seem right, run. Go elsewhere. Many things you described don't seem right to me and the number one for me would be breeding a small female. You should feel absolutely right about your breeder and the contract before purchasing a dog so run until you do find an excellent situation or get a rescue.
