Yes, that makes sense. If I were you, I would ask the vet tomorrow if he can give her the Vitamin K rather than waiting until next week.

They will be sending you and your vet a full report. They will email it to you and it explains everything in detail. I imagine you will receive it tomorrow. Then, perhaps it will all make more sense. It is hard to digest all of the information when you are in the appt. I am so sure your wife was stressed...I never walk out of there totally understanding all of what they tell me. It is always easier to read the report.
