No, it does not require surgery...usually hospitalization though for IV fluids. I am just a bit concerned about her need for Vit K. She must have something going on with her clotting factor.

My wife said she was told it's low because of her liver (since she has jaundice). I don't see how it's pancreatitis if my 2nd vet and this one today said the ultrasound showed her gall bladder as extremely enlarged and she has jaundice.

They said if it was this (pancreatitis) they would have to reroute her lower intestines.
