You've got to understand, I was probably six when the first Furby came out. I didn't ask for one, I got one for Christmas. He was black with purple wizard robe and hat with yellow stars. He'd come alive in the middle of the night in my dark bedroom and wake me up. It was traumatizing!
I remember hurling it down the stairs...he was unbreakable...then I had to live with the guilt that I tried to break my furby and he survived it. I could see the hurt in his creepy, bulging eyes.
I finally made my mom put him in storage and ten years later when we opened the box, the batteries in him had leaked out and his beak was broken, but he was STILL alive!!
