Today the groomer came to groom Wallee. I mentioned that with wearing coats Wallee was beginning to mat much more. I told her to cut him quite a bit shorter especially trimming the hair under his arms...
she cut all his beautiful hair off. Now with his long hair on his tail and face he looks like a typical s**tzu that we see so many of. I feel sad when I look at him and hope it grows quickly. I am happy we won't be battling the mats for a while but sad to see his soft coat gone.
Also can anyone define a cotton coat for me? I always said his coat was cotton because it was curly however the groomer said the texture feels more silky to her. Is it possible to have a curl silky coat or am I right calling him a cotton?
