I just got word from my sister why I was not invited to Christmas dinner. She asked if I was being invited and was told NO she can have dinner with her family!
So my sister elected not to attend either. I have three sisters...close to one!
So like you I haven't heard from my mother...haven't really had her call me in over 5yrs...since Dad passed away. What I did to diserve this kind of treatment from my mother is beyond me! I know it hurts Alisha....I will give you the same advice Mark gave me....just leave it alone. One day he will need you...you may or may not be there when he does.
For me, I am the first born....it hurts like "H"...I was in tears when my baby sister told me....that is the last set of tears I will cry for the woman that gave me life. I have to let it go....for my own sanity and for my own happiness....
