I did not see anyone say that ALL Christmas puppies "end up at the shelter or suffer a lifetime of neglect and torture." It is a sad fact that many of puppies purchased at this time of year do end up with a very sad story. Especially those who pick up that pet store puppy that looks so cute in the window and is available on a payment plan! Even shelter dogs that are adopted out around Christmas time many times end up back at the shelter in January. It happens all year long but Christmas time increases the numbers. The Christmas season many times incites people to make unwise shopping decisions and puppies are one of the causalities way too often.

It's not judging. It is a fact.
