And I had a though what would happen if you bred a typical Yorkie with a biewer? Is this something that is a complete no no?
I live in the UK and just happen to be near a town where there is a biewer breeder she always seems to have a couple of puppies for sale, they are very expensive and had thought that I would get a puppy from her at a later date if she was still breeding in a couple of years.
This was more of a curiosity question then anything. I appreciate your responses.... Thanks. |
If you breed a traditional yorkie to a biewer...you will get all traditional colored puppies which carry for piebald (the gene responsible for the biewer coloring). You would be forced to register the dogs with a german registry which accepts these breedings and the dogs would be yorkshire terriers.
In the biewer world they are also known as "splitters".
