sirius is unregistered and yes he was cheaper. that was not why we got him though. papers were not important to me as i do not plan to breed. but we saw both parents the father had papers and we saw them. the mother was not registered but her parents were and we saw them. the woman did not plan on a litter from the mother and then well a litter came. granted i have learned my lesson and will be wary of an unregistered pup next time. some questions have come up. all i can say is do your homework and make sure you can trust the breeder. some red flags are not showing you the parents. also i would like to point out just because you have papers does not mean the puppy is pure bred either. there are alot of shady breeders out there who will say to the akc that this is the father when some dog down the street got the mother pregnant. i have also seen this happen. imo if the puppy is a pet then papers should not matter. just love your yorkie. |
