Donda Biewers is a good example of a responsible and even expert breeder. Contacting someone like that would be a big help to you in your search. A good breeder often has a waiting list for their pups and they are well worth the wait. If they don't have puppies available they may be able to point you in the right direction in finding someone they know that has pups.

I would not hesitate to get on a good breeders waiting list. I would much rather wait a few months than spend years of time, money and suffering with a genetically defective puppy. Sure you would still love the pup but you don't want to see your dog suffer with a genetic defect.

Buying a Yorkie these days is like walking a mine field. There are so many people out there breeding that have no idea about what it takes to breed healthy happy purebreds. You do not want a health guarantee that means you have to return your much loved pup if there is something found to be wrong with it.
