Good point. Mine I got from a medical supply were so cheap I could get 3-4 compared to the other places that sell them as patterns. Mine still look new. Very heavy duty. And I use bleach and it didn't wear the fabric out. I was worried more of he plastic like material . But I'm not using a full cup either. I choose the plain white one just hoping when I put rugs back he may notice the difference. Maybe not?? Anyway if the op doesn't have access to a washer and dry better off having a diaper pail and a full load of pads. The reusable ones regardless of the ones you get. In the long run they will pay for themselfs in cost vs disposable pads. Also they stay out of the landfills
