When we talked about 40 mins. ago, he said he might be about an hour from the border and then(he's not really sure since he's not driven it before - he's just been up there about 2 weeks) however long it will take to drive to the metroplex from there, and in this weather, I'm not sure. I didn't even ask him how long - was afraid he might try to make it in that time or something. I so worry that by the time he hits northeast Texas the winter weather will have made it over there - but, the ground is pretty warm as we've had record December warmth this year so hopefully it won't be sticking and freezing immediately. Oh why did the weather have to do this today? Now I'm pretty much wishing he hadn't tried it.
