Oh, I am so sorry. It's never the same when a child is away on a holiday, no matter how big they are! It is a big hole they leave when they can be home, isn't it? I only have the one child but the two times the weather has kept him from coming home Christmas, it was just not the same. I enjoyed the others in the family being there and love them all dearly but when all your chicks aren't under your wings at Christmas, momma hen is not right somehow. I pray your dd is safe and happy where she is having Christmas and can come home next holiday. God bless and Merry Christmas anyway to another mommie.
