Toby seems to be on the mend. He's perked up a little this morning which set me at ease. He's been laying around resting all day long. He drank some water (though I've forced him), but he still won't eat his dog food. I looked up what was ok people food to give him and so I scrambled him up some plain eggs. Darn dog would only eat it if I pretended I was eating it. I cut up pieces of apple and he ate some of that too. Right now he's actually picked up some of his toys to play with. Oh and he's gone potty a few times, and the strong smell seems to have gone. Thanks so much for your concern. I've never owned a dog. I had no idea how attached I became to him. It was awful to see him in such pain and I couldn't do anything for him or even know what hurts. |
