They come in different heights ... Toto's are 24 inches and are the absolute handiest things we have ever bought! They fold flat and have a gate lock. I don't think Schatzie could jump over the 24 inch pen. We use them at home, camping, in hotels ... anywhere there may be an occasion that we don't want her to be free to wander about or dash out a door. When we aren't at home, we spread a tarp or shower curtain down and just set the pen on it. This protects her from unfamiliar ground and carpet that God knows what's been on it!
It's funny because hotels think we are protecting their carpet when in reality we are protecting Toto!!
