Most of the time I just put Callie's harness over the coat. The buddy belt is so easy to adjust that is very easy to do that. Sometimes you also have to make the hole yourself. I also have a jacket from petco that has hooks on the back as well as the zipper to attach the leash too that works as a harness. I was looking at petco and petsmart and saw a few of them.
