It may be she remembers the aggressive actions of the larger dogs at her first classes. Maybe it is not so much the size as the fact that the puppy is being very forward with her. Your dog has a less aggressive personality. I'm sure the puppy is full of life and wants to play. It could be a good opportunity for your girl to learn how to play but don't force her if she is really bothered by it. Expose her a little at a time. The puppy should also be taught good manners. Don't let it be too overbearing since you little one does not like rough play.

The puppy will eventually grow out of the baby stage and hopefully by then they will know each other well enough to get along.
