Also, there is no way an eagle could pick that much weight up..even for a little bit. Now, a dog is different - even if the dog is too much weight to carry off, they can carry them a little bit and then drop them. |
I know a lot of people said it was a hoax. I can tell you though that these birds are attacking things that are much larger than they can carry. It is commonly said that they only catch what they can carry but that is not true. The larger prey birds will attack an animal and kill it on the ground. They eat what they can on the ground and rip away parts to carry.
The young birds leaving nests and seeking out their own hunting grounds are hungry and will attack some things that are uncommon for such birds to eat.
