Panting is signifiucant for pain....fever is significant for infection. What is her temperature? Does she have fever? Are yoiu giving her pain medication? Is she getting enough of it? Do you have a vet on standby/call or do you have to go to an ER? Rather safe than sorry, and there are a lot of things that can go wrong following a section....I would take her in to the er and have her checked out...tell them what she is getting for pain ....they may need to up the dose, and/or give it more frequentl;y.
