I have never used boots. I think you would need to train your dog from an early are to wear them.
Salt is very painful to the dog's feet. I buy the kind of salt that is safe for pets but of course usually your neighbors will not. I have to shovel an area for Gracie to play if the snow is deep. She does not seem to mind the snow on her feet. She actually loves to play in it for a limited amount of time. |
