My boy has ears that usually flop, too and I LOVE it! Blazer's hair is rather heavy so I started clipping it on his ears just to lighten the load a bit and now his ears usually stand mostly up with the tips flopped over. Sometimes they stand all the way up, sometimes they flop all of the way down. He is SUPER expressive with his ears. If you are dead set on trying to get your pups ears to stand erect try clipping the hair first and if that doesn't work try taping them.
