I posted a thread on here yesterday telling about how strange my dog was acting. I took her to the vet today, and turns out she has Lymes Disease. She's on antibiotics, and the vet wants to do a follow up blood test in 30 days. She wants me to bring in a urine sample sometime, preferable before the 30days, to check her kidneys. I read that Lymes Disease can cause kidney failure, so that is a whole new thing for me to worry about. What is the likelihood of Zoey getting kidney failure from Lymes Disease? She's 4yrs old if that matters.
