Finally got the Zymox shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo goes on easy and rinses clean but I've never used a conditioner before.
I just spread it all over him, gave him a slight rinse to help me spread it around easier, then gave him a really quick rinse -- not completely rinsing out the conditioner. All seems well and Ruger is happy, but did I use the conditioner correctly? Should I just work the stuff in and not rinse him at all? I will say it was easy to brush him.
I'll let you all know how it works on that flaking. As I said before, the vet didn't seem all that concerned about the flaking, but if it continues he may have to have his thyroid checked -- Ruger, not the vet.
