Alisha, make sure you have some chicken broth on hand and a dropper or syringe to use for water. At first, she might not want to eat or drink. (Mandie was like this anyway). Drizzle a bit of broth over her kibble and it will help. You might need to feed her by hand. Same with the water..I used a dropper the first 12 or so hours.

Other than that, keep a onsie on her if you can if she starts licking. And, keep her from being extremely active (so she doesn't rip her stitches). Other than that, she should be fine...she'll probably just want to lay there and rest for the first few hours after coming home.
