One thing to remember about Yorkies is that they were bred to kill rodents. They have an instinct to bite and shake. If you have one that latches onto your hand you can do the yelp thing and say "NO!" but don't rip your hand away. Moving your hand will incite the pup to bite harder and encourage the pup to try it again. Let your hand go limp and reach with your other hand and remove the mouth gently. Give the puppy something that is acceptable to bite. It takes repitition and patience but the pup will stop. Never allow the behavior without teaching the lesson.
