I'm not sure thats true, or should I say I've never done it that way....??? hmmm, anyway unless his system is compromised or he is very small I think a scheduled 3-4 meals per day at this point would suffice...My Miss Mia started with 3 meals a day and now only eats at night, have no idea why but my pups only eat once a day.

I would offer food with water for 20-30 mins., make sure hes eating enough and usually they poop within 20-40 minutes...usually, not always. You really have to keep on top of them at this point, the best part is once you get them going right it usually doesn't take very long for it to become routine....of course there will always be accidents.
