The ones from walmart are probably not latex but silicone, children's snag free hair bands. This is what I use since it's so inexpensive & you can just cut them off. It's usu one size.
Latex bands are much stronger & what show enthusiasts use for wrapping. There's the latex free version for those w/latex allergy. They come in different sizes.
