Actually she really doesn'tmind reusing the pad. In fact during the day when I am at work she will go on the pad in her pen more than once. As for eliminatingthe number of pads, I have tried to do that and also have tried to confine her more so I can keep a closer watch. She is getting better slowly. I think she just needs some time. Also, I love using the reusable pads b/c I no longer have to pick up the shredded disposable ones. Now I just need to buy a whole lot more of them.
In fact now she knows that she will get a treat if she goes on the pad so she makes sure that I am standing near her and squats down her butt and will go a couple of drops on the pad, just to get a treat. It is sort of funny, so I know she knows where she is suppose to go.
