I was just watching Dr. Phil on TV and he was talking to the family of a violent son who loses his temper and loses control, has drawn a knife on his mother, stabbed the kitchen counter with it and both his parents stated they were afraid he will kill them one day. Yet his father said that he has a gun collection in a gun safe in his home that requires some type of code entry!!! Needless to say, that father was advised to get rid of that gun collection! Who is to say that son couldn't put a knife to his mother's throat and threaten to kill her if the dad doesn't open that gun safe for him?
