Embarassed February 17th - Spay Tia - HELP!

My little Tee Tee Mouse will be 6 months old February 16th. I made an appointment to have her spayed on Friday, February 17th. We had her weighed at the vet this week and she currently weighs 1 lb and 14 ounces. If she doesn't reach at least 2 lbs before February 17th, should I cancel her spay appointment? I'm nervous because she's so tiny. She's not frail or sickly by any means -- she acts like a baby bear cub with her all spunk and energy! But I'm still really worried because of her size. I don't want to put her health at risk.

Is there a sort of rule of thumb regarding how much a dog should weigh when it's being spayed/neutered? I just feel like Tia is still too small to spay right now. But I really want to have her spayed at 6 months old -- I don't want too wait too much longer (unless it's necessary).

By the way, when I have her spayed, the vet is also going to remove any extra baby teeth (if necessary) and remove a dew claw on her right front paw because the stupid vet who docked her tail only removed THREE dew claws -- I guess the dope forgot that dogs have 1 dew claw per ALL FOUR paws!

PS - I know 1 lb and 14 ounces is almost 2 lbs but I'm still worried because even 2 lbs is small.
