I have a friend who has a Jack Russell terrier. She found her one morning with her face planted in her water bowl. They did blood work, etc and found kidney damage due to the dog treats from China. She is ok now, but is on meds and has quarterly blood work done. Since your baby is so young, I would for sure get her in for a full blood panel to check for liver problems, diabetes or kidney problems. My little man had a UTI and they ended up doing an ultra sound and found a liver shunt, which we just had corrected this past week. Good luck and let us know how this works out.
