Jeanie, thank you so much for such a well-thought out and helpful reply! I really appreciate it! I'm going to try everything you mentioned. I think she should be comfortable in her own home. Luma has never had hotdog...I bet even just the smell of a cooked hotdog would be enough for her to decide to stop being a scaredy cat!! I admit I was probably coddling her which was only reinforcing her behaviors. If this doesn't work looks like I need to duke it out with my kitchen ghost.
