For starters, Fudge, Chocolate-Covered Cherries, Egg Nog and we go from there to add cakes, pies, cookies, etc. Those are candies and goodies but at Christmas, that is how we do it. We usually eat some appetitzers, visit, take pictures, go for the sweets and then open presents, graze on the real food later. The "sugar plum" goodies are prominent and then we lay out various meats or pizza, salad, green bean casserole, 3-bean salad, sweet potato casserole & other things of substance to eat when we're sick of very sweet things. This year we might go ahead and have a traditional turkey or ham dinner. Still deciding.
