If I ever have a dog diagnosed with liver shunt, I will crawl over broken glass, all the way from Texas to Tennessee, to Dr.Tobias, for her help and her corrective surgery! She has trained other vets, but I am not familiar with who they are and where they practice....you may be able to see if she will recommend someone closer to you....
