 obsessive carpet licking
Hi everyone, this one is a weird one. Occasionally Wallee will find a place on our carpet and start licking and digging at it. He will continue to do this until I go to the spot and tell him no. Sometimes he won't stop until I spray vinegar and water on the spot. I have steam cleaned my carpets twice already since I got him using pet cleaning solutions and if there are any "accidents" I use the enzyme cleaners to clean the spots immediately. I have 4 cats in the house as well and also use the cleaners when they spit up any hair balls.
I never usually see anything in the spots he chooses to lick until after he has licked them for a while..lol..Then it seems that he creates a spot.
Has anyone else ever experienced this and do you think it has anything to do with the cats?
Obviously he seems to be sniffing out something that I cannot see. |
