I Googled this issue and found a couple solutions.
First, instead of clicking on the play button here, try clicking on the title at the top of the video screen. That takes you to the video on youtube -- and it might let you play it from there. If not...
Go to youtube.com on mobile device
Click on the link that looks like 3 parallel lines. You'll get a screen that says Browse Channels. Go to bottom of that.
Click on "desktop," you'll get a desktop screen instead of mobile screen
Search for name of video: In this case, Jillie the Yorkie snow-fetching a big ball
Next screen may show several possibilities. Choose the correct one.
Click Play. Sometimes you have to click play more than once.
Or you can just get off your lazy butt and go upstairs
