I didn't realize that the cargo area would be cold. I just googled airline safety for dogs and the ASPCA doesn't recommend it. My husband is calling some friends, I don't want to take them anymore. One site said they could get sent somewhere else accidentally and also that they are treated just like cargo so the crates could be rough-handled.
