A week ago, I noticed my Holly seemed to be limping a bit. When she walked, her body just moved unevenly. She was eating fine, sleeping fine, playing, and moving around like normal. Except for her weird uneven walk. We brought her to the vet, and he felt around her and noticed that she was going through muscle atrophy in her left front leg.
He gave her anti-inflammatory pills that we are going to try for a week. And if in the next week she is still keeping her weight off of that leg, we are going to have to bring her in for x-rays. I'm really hoping that she'll start being able to use that leg soon. And that maybe she just sprained her leg. I'm nervous that she won't get better, and we'll have to bring her in for x-rays in a couple of weeks. It's making me anxious, so I hope she gets better soon.
