Hi Lady, actually I have seen three sizes. Meeko is 4.11 lbs and will be about 5 to 6 fully grown. You are right that the small one is really small. I laid him in it at the store, too small. The SUV one is way to big for my car. There was a size in between but it was $100. It will be a little snug in my car, but it has a foam bottom which will give a bit. But it is a perfect size for him.
