I have considered getting this one too, but the only thing stopping me is that it may be too small. Millie is only 4.5 lbs, but I think even she would have only room to sit up in it and not lie down in it comfortably. The regular console can only hold a pet up to 4 lbs. Only the SUV console can hold a pet up to 8 lbs.

So depending on the size of your puppy or the size it is expected to get, this may not be the best option.
