I use it with several of my seniors. I started giving it after they started having motion issues, secondary to arthritis and I have one little girl that is a breeder mess....and her hips and knees are horrible...she had reached the point where she actually no longer hardly walk....and surgery was not an option, as her little hips and legs were bowed so badly, the specialist did not think he was going to be able to give her any quality life....I put her on Cosequin and Healthy Extension Little Bites, and Crickette not only walks, she even ventures a run when motivated! I think the stuff is a miracle drug and recommend it to everyone. I have not given it as an everyday supplement, but it certainly works amazingly well after the problem manefests itself! And I have to say, people on here introduced me to Dasuquin....I think it contains a pain killer because another of my seniors has had a spine issue (spurs) all his life and as he has gotten older, it has really started causing him pain....while the Cosequin was helping him to walk around, if you picked him up, sometimes he would holler out in pain....the Dasuquin has eliminated that! If I had put these two on these drugs from the beginning, as a daily supplement, they may not be so bad now....although they are from a BYB and have terrible soundness issues...They are just my precious pets...
