No problem leaving on the Thundershirt. My 2 little ones wear theirs in the winter to keep them wrapped up warm from drafts in the house. I wish I got one smaller now because my littlest one is only 2 lbs 14 ozs now due to kidney disease and she gets wrapped up twice in it but it works. Good luck.
