Until I joined YT I had NEVER heard of the "12 week rule." Though I completely understand the reasoning behind it, I think that because 8 weeks is the "norm" for most pups there is no reason to bully someone about getting their pup at 8 weeks. Now, if the breeders were selling the pups younger than that, then by all means, educate LOUDLY. But 8 weeks? Move on...
