Clyde's name meaning is after a river in Scotland. There is a "slang" meaning behind the name Clyde .... but I don't like it (bumpkin or square). Clyde is named Clyde because of my favorite actor, Gerard Butler. I wanted to name him Gerard ... but it didn't fit. I was going to name him Butler but everyone refused to call him that. So I watched all of Gerard Butler's movies (because I owned them all HAHA) and picked my favorite one. Law Abiding Citizen. Gerard Butler plays the character named Clyde Sheldon. I absolutely loved the movie & the name.

Dexter's name means something about "right-handed and fortunate"....Dexter is named after Michael C. Hall ... and my all time favorite television series "Dexter". I absolutely LOVE the actor & the show ... so I went with Dexter. It fits him perfectly.

I have a thing for naming my pets after favorite actors/movies. '

So... What does your pets name mean and where did it come from?
Joel is named after Joel Madden and I looked up the meaning and it means The Lord is God, so I thought that was cool

I love your boys names. I like Gerard Butler AND the Dexter show, I was JUST watching the show tonight, season 6 I started late because I was waiting for it to go on Netflix but I couldn't wait that long so then I bought it on itunes lol I'm so excited to watch it now.
