Sounds like your pup rides quite a bit. I know mine is a little afraid of the car, but if we rides more often - he's better. He is in one of those high car seats beside me. And - there is a soft baby blanket in the car seat that he can snuggle into. Also I can reach over with my right hand and pet him while we ride.

He ususally falls asleep if we are in the car for more than 10 minutes.

Dogs are so different. I have one dog that goes crazy to go for a ride and then seems scared the whole time. But, he sure wants to go!

And another dog of mine would practically live in the car if I let her. She rides up by the back window - her window to the world. I can get her out of the car when we get home.

I think you just have to work with your dog - whichever way he is.

I don't take my dogs with me a lot (they usually can't go where I'm going). But I do take them to Zip Trip (a small convenience store) ---and I always get a treat for them there - which we eat on the way home. I'm sure that's why they always want to go in the car......

Good Luck - Carol Jean
