I am so sorry that you are having a problem with getting Willy stabilized. Lymphangectasia can be difficult. It probably is a good idea that you home cook...that is what I do for my Cookie and she is doing very well. I was told that the main key with these pups is diet. She was diagnosed last year at this time. I am copying two links below for you to read and see if perhaps they might help you out.

I definitely suggest that you use a vet nutritionist. Don't just try to do this on your own .. it is relatively inexpensive to do a consult and get a diet from one. Usually anywhere from $150 - $300. I can give you a couple that you could use...and I will also give you the link for the American College of Veterinary Nutrition where you can look one up.

The nutritionist I used for Cookie's diet is in Houston at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists and your vet could call a consult in with her. Her name is Catherine Lenox. The website for them is Home She is in the Internal Medicine Department.

You could also use Rebecca Remillard and her website is Welcome to Pet Diets

The ACVN website is American College of Veterinary Nutrition
