I took him off his original food because of a recall and didn't put him back on it. With some of your suggestions (thank you everyone) and reading a thousand and one pages of dog food information, I finally decided on a product made here in Canada. Gosh it sounds good enough for us to eat. "Acana" is a single meat protein, single grain "LAMB and Okanagan apple" (both of which he loves) It's a little on the pricey side, but I'm more concerned about his health and him eating good stuff. $21.00 for a 5 lbs bag. Really not that much considering he eats 1/2 cup a day.
